Scores rose to a 2014 peak (267.5) then fell below the 1994 level by 2022. Next assessment 2030 per the NAGB schedule. The 0–500-scale NAEP Long-Term Trend and 0–300-scale main assessments are NCES's national probability samples; values are national public+private averages for all students.
