BLS cautions that OEWS estimates are not designed for year-to-year comparison: the survey pools three years of samples, and model-based (MB3) estimation began with May 2021. Values read from the seven national workbooks (2019–2025) and checked in with each file's hash. Computer programmers write and test code to specifications; software developers (a separate, larger occupation) design the software.
