Method & caveats. Share of US job postings on Indeed whose text mentions AI or generative-AI terms (Indeed's keyword list: e.g. machine learning, data science, artificial intelligence, generative AI, large language models), as a seven-day trailing average, from January 2019; stored as the monthly average. The generative-AI-only file was removed from the repository in August 2025, so only the combined share is published. The one phenomenon series here with a full pre-ChatGPT baseline.
