Gallup does not publish the verbatim question wording on this chart; this paraphrase follows its title and description (6VwvN/6). Annual mean of published monthly values; multiple polls within a month are averaged before averaging months. Historical coverage is irregular and missing months are not interpolated. The sourceUrl is the pinned Datawrapper CSV because the chart metadata's source-url is empty; pinned versions are retained for reproducibility and may lag the current chart. Breaks: 2008–2017 daily tracking, monthly polling again from 2017.
