Method & caveats. Share of businesses answering yes to "In the last two weeks, did this business use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in producing goods or services?" — the Census Bureau's biweekly BTOS, ~1.2 million businesses sampled per year, each responding quarterly. Cycles from September 2023 (cycle 202319) through September 2025 (202520), dated here by the end of each reference period. Census retired this wording after 202520 and started a NEW series for the reworded question (see Firms Using AI (Any Function)); the two are never joined. Annual figure is the average of the year's cycles.
