Method & caveats. Suicide deaths (ICD-10 U03, X60–X84, Y87.0; ICD-8/9 equivalents before 1999) per 100,000 resident population aged 15-24, crude rate. 1950–2018 from the Health, United States 2019 table (1950/1960/1970 then annual from 1980), 2018 onward from the NCHS Data Query System table built from CDC WONDER; the 2018 overlap agrees. The all-ages, age-adjusted series is a separate row.
